Innsmouth Academy was founded and constructed in 1798 and has been rebuilt several times due to certain incidents involving fire, earthquake and opening of a dimensional portal. Its location is on a small island off the coast of Maine and its purpose is to educate future citizens of the secret world. Primarily it's associated with the Illuminati, but they do have gifted students and faculty from other societies.

Notable individuals associated with the Academy are headmaster Montag and student Carter.
