TSW Legacy Transfer System For a limited time (until some time in August 2017), you can initiate a ONE-TIME copy of your current TSW clothing items and membership over to your Secret World Legends account. Activating this also unlocks all of your weapon pages in Secret World Legends! Once you log into your Secret World Legends account page, click the TSW Legacy Transfer button to begin the process. That’s it! You get to choose exactly when your items and membership gets copied, but again, this is only available until some time in August. Clothing Transfers Almost every single article of clothing available in the dressing room of any character on your TSW account gets copied to your Secret World Legends account. The only clothing items that won’t copy over are Faction uniforms earned through Faction Ranks. Those can be re-earned through gameplay. Additionally, the “Memory” outfits that represent the CG Characters (Rose, Alex, etc.) do not copy and will not be obtainable in Secret World Legends. All clothing that copies over is available in the dressing room of every character on your Secret World Legends account. There are some important things to keep in mind: Other Items Apart from clothing, here's a rundown on how other cosmetic items work with the Legacy Transfer System:

• All pets you currently own in your Pet Window copy over, with the exception of pets awarded from the Museum of the Occult, as well as the Guardians of Gaia “Shem” pets.
• All Sprint Styles and Mounts you currently own in your Sprint Window copy over, with the exception of the Franken-Chopper. Current owners of the Franken-Chopper instead receive the new “Speed Demon” bike in Secret World Legends. The Franken-Chopper is now a reward from a mission obtained from Moose at Level 50.
• Achievements you earned in TSW do not copy over, although any clothing rewards you earned for completing those achievements do copy over.
• Titles are not a part of the Legacy Transfer system and do not copy over to Secret World Legends.

Dear Secret Worlders, Throughout these past five years, the team here at The Secret World has been so incredibly proud of the stories we’ve been fortunate enough to bring you, our community. That this world we share together has come so far is a testament to your passion and enthusiasm, for which we will always be thankful. Today we’re writing to you to announce that The Secret World will be relaunching this spring as Secret World Legends, a shared-world action RPG featuring over 100 hours of story-driven quests and revamped gameplay and progression systems that will be completely free to play. Years ago, we made the decision to remove the mandatory subscription from The Secret World so that more players could explore the incredible universe we were building. Secret World Legends is an extension of that philosophy, one which removes the hurdles for everyone to experience the mature storylines and uniquely challenging quest design that have set this game apart from day one. Just as importantly, a dedicated relaunch gives us the opportunity to update the game in ways befitting a modern-day action RPG. This includes redesigning the combat system to make action feel more natural, making systems more intuitive to interact with, enhancing the game’s visuals, and improving the flow of quests overall, as well as the structure of the early game for new players. You’re probably wondering how these changes will personally impact you and the game you’ve come to know so well. First and foremost, given the sweeping extent of the changes being implemented, Secret World Legends will reset story progression for anyone who joins, offering a fresh start for all players. This will not erase your progression in The Secret World though! Secret World Legends will exist on a different server than The Secret World, meaning you will still be able to play your old character on The Secret World server. But we hope you consider starting anew in Secret World Legends to experience all the new content and updates coming to the game. We’ve made some major improvements to the game and server, so Secret World Legends will have its own client. You can have both Secret World Legends and The Secret World installed on the same computer and play either game at any time. If you’re intrigued by Secret World Legends but don’t want to leave behind the things you’ve worked hard to attain in The Secret World, worry not: a free transfer process will allow you to move vanity items like Mounts, Pets, Vehicles, and other customizations that have been purchased through the item store from The Secret World to your characters in Secret World Legends. We’ll have more information on this process and which items will be transferable as we get closer to launch. In addition, if you’re currently part of our Membership program, you can copy your membership from The Secret World to Secret World Legends. Your online name in a game represents who you are, so we want to make sure that our current players in The Secret World (TSW) have a chance to reserve their name in Secret World Legends. On April 5th at 10:00 EDT (14:00 UTC) during the weekly downtime on TSW we will be renaming all characters that have not logged in during the past 6 months. At the same time, we will purge the Name Reservation List on The Secret World account page. Once TSW comes back online at 12:00 EDT (16:00 UTC) you will be able to create a character using any of the freed-up names On the TSW account page you will be able to select which character name you would like to reserve for use in Secret World Legends. Please note you can only reserve one name per account. You can only reserve character names that exist on your TSW account. Once Secret World Legends goes live you will be able to link your Secret World Legends and TSW account and claim your reserved name. The new Secret World Legends name reservation page will be available until Secret World Legends goes live. Any name reserved will be available for 3 months after the relaunch.
