So what if the "Servants of Eight" were only a myth? So what if "The Octopus" never really existed - That there were no meetings with 'the other side'? Despite the facts, many choose to believe - They do so righteously, because the advice, no matter its origins, is of a truly divine quality. Not only are the principles good (although the concepts of 'good' and 'bad' aren't really a part of the teachings), but their inspiration among the human race has been beneficial. A bad example of that are the Sunglasses of the Servants of Eight - Designed solely for form and not function, these were marketed by a relatively little-known manufacturer from Wakawak IX, with the tagline of "Meet the Octopus in style!" - They were never mass produced, and are now a bit of a collector's item.
