Steel-ribbed armor is a light, but tough armor, found in many qualities and at least three known versions. By using an Omnifier on it is now possible to improve it - for use by certified Omni-Tek personnel.

1. Use your trusty Hacker Tool and hack a piece of normal steel-ribbed armor. The Nadir and Obtru versions can also be hacked. If you're the lucky owner of a Lock Pick of Eight you will find the hacking process easier than by using just a standard Hacker Tool.

2. Apply the contents of an Omnifier to your hacked piece of steel-ribbed armor - and you will end up with an improved piece of steel-ribbed armor, wearable only by Omni-Tek personnel.

NOTE: The requirements to wear the improved version will rise somewhat.
