This device was recently recovered by Jobe researchers. It is believed to be a device which retrieves objects owned by powerful inhabitants of the Shadowlands back to their owners.

When one wears one of the keys to a Shadowlands garden or sanctuary, using this beacon will carry you to the location the key is bound to. If the user does not have sufficient faction with the Guardian of Shadows, or are of a faction opposed to that controlling the key you are wearing, you will not be able to transit to that area. This device can be used once every 10 minutes.
