The Protector Squib is another piercer evolved from ritual weapons used on Turtle, a moon circling around the gas-planet LU-109-Borne in the Marker system. The original model for this weapon is called a 'Olamisi-Olamidan', a name that directly translated means something like 'Protection of Protectors'. 'Protector' is a synonym for the famous warrior class on Turtle.
