Description
The Mausser Particle Streamer holds twin chambers of Sub Space Invigerators, enabling a particular nasty rate of fire. This variation is stripped for its large propulsion chamber and heavy cooling system (the weapon can use air-cooling when the propulsion chamber is gone). Instead a compression chamber for chemicals has been added - to enable greater damage, and there's also room for larger ammo clips. The cost of all this is a somewhat shorter range.

This is the base of the Mausser Particle Streamer. Among other things, it contains the twin chambers of sub space invigerators that has made the weapon so famous - and a compression chamber for chemicals.

The Mausser Particle Streamer can give the credit for its success to its unique twin chambers of sub space invigerators. However, other parts of the gun could have been constructed differently. To achieve long range, the weapon is equipped with a heavy propulsion chamber, and to keep the chamber cool, a complicated cooling system is needed. If you sacrifice some range, you will be able to build a lighter weapon, with a more effective damage type and larger ammo capacity. This is the procedure:
1. Use a standard hacker tool to disable the seal, and remove the propulsion chamber and liquid cooling system.
2. Add the Compression Chamber for Chemicals - use standard method and precautions.
3. Attach a standard Composite Barrel.
4. Cut and shape a sheet of Curved Carbonum Plating into standard form, as described in 'Weapon Smithing Sourcebook' (MTI Publishing Company 29471). Add the plating and secure the chamber. Finally - reset the seal and go hunting!
