The M-3 Bipower is a unique weapon, combining a 9-shot, .55 calibre revolver with a 23-shot, 22mm auto. The revolver can use any of the special-purpose loads developed for the CA-MAP, while the 22mm auto delivers fast, accurate firepower. Lately, the M-3 Hyper version has been available to the private market. It has introduced the use of Hyper Pylons in weapons of this class.
