The Decus Armor was originally an honorary item, worn as a sign of rank in a long-lost tribe on a long-forgotten planet... or that is what most people would tell you. Others will explain that the name was put together from at least two different languages from completely different places on Old Earth, and that it most likely is a marketing ploy. Regardless of which version you choose to believe, this is an excellent suit of armor. Three different versions exist, all with slightly different qualities.
