The Peasant Squib is a piercer evolved from ritual weapons used on Turtle, a moon circling around the gas-planet LU-109-Borne in the Marker system. The original is called a 'Goll-Olamidi', a name that directly translated means something like 'Protection of the feet'. 'Feet' is a synonym for the lower classes on Turtle.
