This rather dangerous looking tooth comes from one of the strange shadowy winged creatures found in the area the Yuttos know as Albtraum. The tooth is jet black and cold to the touch. These teeth do not reflect light despite having a polished surface. It is as if the compound absorbs the light itself.

Yutto legend tells that the ancient Yuttos believed that such creatures could suck the very thoughts from the minds of their victims, maybe even their very soul. The Yuttos are almost pathologically afraid of encountering these creatures, as the legends describe those bitten by such creatures as becoming mere shells of flesh and bones totally devoid of thought and soul. The Yuttos still believe that such poor victims roam the shadows and darker corners of the Shadowlands.
