Service Towers were originally an experimental project carried out by the Omni-AF. They proved to be too expensive and too advanced for regular production and use, but they have become popular in the private market. Before you can start creating any of the available Service Towers you need to obtain a 'Multi Purpose Tuner'. With this tool you can tune and expand any of the Service Tower libraries that are available in shops - so that it becomes a functioning tower control module, or 'brain'. Connect the 'brain' to a 'Service Tower Shell' of appropriate quality and you get an 'Inactive Service Tower'.

NOTE: The tower is stationary once it is activated and raised - and it can not be deconstructed.
