This sheet of curved Carbonum plating has been etched with the patterns for all the 149 pieces needed to build one uni-size plate armor breastplate. The pieces can be detached and built together manually by using a simple screwdriver, but most people find it easier instead to leave that task to a Mass relocating Robot (Shape Hard Armor).

Carbonum Plate offers excellent protection against chemical attacks and most other physical attacks. It tends to be susceptible to energy type attacks. Carbonum has the ability to absorb a large amount of the notum particles normally found in the air on Rubi-Ka. Because of the nanobot-stablizing effects of raw notum, the armor is also regarded as a nice auxiliary tool for users of nano technology.
