You create an augmentation, or implant if you like, by combining two different aodb_items. This is always done by adding a Nano Cluster to an implant.
Pick one up, and hold down shift-key. Right-click on implant... (A Nano Cluster is a small crystallized sphere containing the waiting nanobots which will infuse in the patients body once implanted).
The implant can normally contain up to 3 different augmentations. No implant can ever hold more than one augmentation (Nano Cluster) affecting a specific part of your psycho-physiology - as they will interfere with each other.
