Although some elements to create this item are gathered from the environment by the nanobot cloud, most comes from the meta-physicist. Use of this nano formula has been known to result in the death of more than one reckless meta-physicist. Furthermore, the item created is not a truly real construct, and will dissipate after 8 hours.

This smaller staff is a modification of the larger snake staff, designed to be wielded in one hand. It is created through the solidification of matter by a skilled meta-physicist. The core of the staff is a rod of pure notum that acts as a catalyst for nanobot renewal, increasing the size of the wielder's nanobot cloud. Upon each hit, the staff will attempt to inject a small amount of poison; however, the smaller fangs on the staff make it less likely to be able to successfully inject this poison.
